Synopsis: Lemminkäinen, restless and bold, longs for adventure and for love. When he meets Kyllikki, their fates are bound together in a dance of light and shadow. But fate is merciless. Louhi, Mistress of the North, sends him on an impossible quest: to slay the Swan of Tuonela. As vengeance clouds his path, his mother must defy death itself to save him.
