Synopsis: In an era when mastery of the seas determined the fate of kingdoms, a passionate model maker received a commission as prestigious as it was mysterious from a French admiral: to build a model of the legendary Black Pearl in order to present the royal family with a symbol capable of inspiring power and dominance over the oceans.
